I’m Trinidadian

I’m female

I’m a traveller

If memory serves me correctly, my first plane ride was to Grenada. I’m sure it was with my mother and I may have been accompanied by my sister – I’m not sure, and I don’t have any pictures in my album to remind me of it, but I could have been 4 or 5. We have a family picture in New York as well I was seven. Then I lived in Canada for a year between the ages of 8 and 9. During my teen years, a visit to Latin America every so often to visit my Dad, was an exotic brag at secondary school. This just to say that travel has been a part of my life from early on…. But, it was when I went to study in Jamaica, I engaged in travel to visit friends and places, as opposed to family, this was a joyful discovery. Here, I realised that the world was my oyster, one I could shuck with my passport.

Every year since 1995 I have travelled for pleasure to North America and various islands of the Caribbean and I have enjoyed it.

In 2003, I decided to take graduate studies in England – a dream come true for me! The opportunity opened the door to the continent of Europe, an enigma I hope one day to explore more of!

I’m new to the travel scene, but I’m proud to wear the badge of a traveller.

And now this blog…

– this blog is not about where I’ve been but rather where I’m going.

I would like to travel to 20 different countries in the next ten years… quite an accomplishable feat actually – I just have to plan it properly and this is a place for me to share the journey, so we’ll go there together, wherever there is.

Welcome! 19 October 2007

I have a lot of ideas about what to put here, so give me an opportunity to sort these out and when I do, I’ll proudly proclaim “Hello World!”
